My name is Olha Mi Corazon.
I am an artist, and for me art has always been a form of dialogue with the world and with nature.

Flowers and fruits in my watercolours are born from attentive observation and inner stillness. Nature fills me with ideas, and in these works I seek to convey its generosity, brightness and living breath. My watercolours are rich and juicy, full of colour and inner light. They carry joy, movement and a sense of life continuing directly on the paper.

These paintings are able to evoke emotions and awaken cherished memories. Sometimes it is an immediate feeling of joy, sometimes a warm response connected with home, a garden, a particular time or event. They do not require explanation and do not seek to become background. Each work lives its own life and carries an individual mood.

My works are held in private collections around the world and take part in international exhibitions. I live and work in the United Kingdom, remaining part of a broad international cultural space in which art, nature and personal history are closely intertwined.

For me, it is important not only to create art, but also to share it with those who feel a deep connection with nature and respond to images born from that feeling.

About

I draw portraits of beloved pets using coloured pencils, slowly and thoughtfully, with the kind of attention required to truly observe a living being. In such works, what matters to me is not only physical likeness, but also character - whether the gaze is calm, curious, or trusting.

Each time, the aim is not simply to create an image, but to convey a sense of presence. I work gently and carefully, with respect for every stroke, allowing the image to gradually emerge on the paper. Subtle details are important - the glint in the eyes, the direction of the fur, the barely noticeable tones that reveal themselves only through long, attentive looking.

Each portrait is a handmade piece, created with warmth and patience, without templates or repetition. These images do not seek to draw attention, yet over time they become part of the home - quiet, unobtrusive, and deeply personal. They live alongside books, photographs, and cherished family objects, gradually becoming part of everyday life.

How to order a portrait

1. Pet photographs.

To begin, I need high-quality, well-lit photographs taken in natural light. It is important that the eyes, nose, and ears are clearly visible. Ideally, please send several good photos (2–5) from different angles. This helps me accurately capture the shape of the head, the expression, and the character of the fur. If you are unsure which photos are best, I will be happy to help you choose.

2. Discussing the details.

We agree in advance on the format, background (usually calm and neutral), timeline, and any personal wishes. If needed, we can also discuss the mood of the portrait or specific accents.

3. Deposit.

A 50% deposit is required to begin the work. This secures your order and allows me to start. The remaining balance is paid once the portrait is completed and before shipping.

4. Creating the portrait.

Each portrait is created by hand, without haste. If you wish, I can share a progress image during the process.

5. Finished work and shipping.

The completed portrait is carefully packaged and sent by post. A preview can be provided before dispatch.
