40 Years of the SBA

Plantae 2025 exhibition celebrates the beauty and diversity of the plant kingdom through outstanding botanical art. Marking our 40th anniversary, this special edition of the annual exhibition was held at Mall Galleries, London, from 28 May to 7 June 2025.

This milestone event featured a curated selection of works by SBA members, graduates of the SBA Distance Learning Diploma Course, and non-members from around the world. In addition, Plantae 2025 showcased the first works of the National Trust’s Munstead Wood Florilegium, as well as 9 works from the Chelsea Physic Garden Florilegium Society and the winners of the RHS Rhododendrons, Camellias and Magnolias Group Competition, which was exclusively open to SBA members.
